The British Pedal Company - Zonk Machine is based on the original John Hornby Skewes Zonk Machine MKI pedal produced in Leeds, England, in 1965 – 1966. The Zonk machine is tonally similar to the original 3 transistor MKI Tone Bender offering overdriven fuzz tones. This Zonk circuit however offers more headroom and a slight oscillation making it a unique moment in these early fuzz years. Based on limited production, originals are exceptionally scarce. A part of their Vintage Series, these pedals from B.P.C. deliver the tone and feel of some of the most iconic builds in the early history of pedals.
